"I'm here for you."

"I'll help you, November. I'm the uncle sort of. I'll be like the stand-in daddy. Whatever you need me to do. I'm here for you."- Jericho

November arrived at Jericho's house with the excuse of a school project. Jericho, Josh cousin, knew that there was no project to do but he didn't know what was gonna come upon him. So November told Jericho that she needed to tell him something he asked if it was about school she said no. She told him she was pregnant. They had a brief conversation about how the baby was gonna look. She told him that she had already told her mom but she wasn't very happy bought it. In this quote Jericho gives his support to November. He tells her that he will be there with her through  the whole process even if he didn't know what that meant. He let's her know that he will be there for her and to care for the baby too.

"Not You"

"I cant deal with this! Not you. Not you, November!" - Mrs. Nelson

November had told her mom that she was gonna go to YMCA to work at the book fair. But the truth was that she was gonna go to the doctor. She went to the doctor, the doctor had asked her if she was gonna tell her mom she said she didn't want to she was scared of her reaction. When November got home she saw her mom working on a puzzle. Her mom started saying that the Black College Tour had arrived on the mail. November responded by saying that maybe she shouldn't go. Her mom said why not. She asked November if everything was okay. She said no. Her mom said if it was Josh. She said that it was really hard to go threw life knowing that Josh was dead. She said it was worst. She told her mom that she was pregnant.  She responded with this quote. This quote basically meant that that she couldn't believe her daughter her November was pregnant Mrs.Nelson couldn't deal with the fact that her daughter was pregnant. She had so much planned for her daughter she knew that November had a great future ahead of her. She was very disappointed.

"I'm...I'm.

"I'm... I'm pregnant, Mom." -November

Well the significance of this quote is that this is when November gives her mom the big news. November wasnt sure whether to tell her or not but she couldn't hold it in no more. This news will cost November and her mother a very big conflict.

Novemeber Blues

So far I am liking the book it is very interesting. If i could change anything of the book maybe the length i don't know but if it is gonna keep on being this interesting i don't mind the length of the story.I would recommend this book to any one who likes drama. It is very life relating because the situation that the characters are going through is very realistic, we see that situation now and days.
